This is a sweet I wouldn’t call health food, but it does have some nutritional value. You decide just how much to have because you choose the size of the bars.

Heat to boiling:

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup brown sugar (optional)

1/8 tsp salt

Stir in 1 cup natural peanut butter.

Then stir in:

3 cups toasted oat cereal (like Cheerios)

1 cup chocolate chips (or carob chips)

1 tsp vanilla

Put this mixture into a 9 inch buttered pan. Refrigerate until firm. (approx. 1 hour) Cut into bars. This recipe takes about 5 minutes to make.
